Harapeco Japanese Kitchen - Berlin

I tried Okonomiaky in Hiroshima and love it. I was very happy to find it in Berlin, it was also delicious and almost as good as it was in Japan. I will come back for more.

Simply the best Okonomiyaki I had outside Japan! Friendly service, great starters, great Okonomiyaki variations! Highly recommended for anyone linking Japanese food.

Just within 5 minutes walk from Ostkreuz S-Bahn station, I found this small and lovely OkonomiYaki restaurant. It is a savory pancake (in case you don't know).Parapeco (meaning Hunger both in German & English) serves this pancake with 1.pork, 2. seafood, 3.pork and seafood, and 4. vegan. But all pancakes contain lots of vege therefore you don't feel like eating 'pancakes'. They have several small dishes and Japanese dessert as well. Price is quite reasonable and all food they make seem to have lots of care. Service is very warm. During the summer they put the tables outside so you can enjoy this pancake with some cool drinks.. and maybe Maccha ice cream. The restaurant is close to Ostkreuz Station, but not on the main street facing to the small park. So quieter and nice to me. Love to go back again soon! By the way this restaurant is still new (opened in June 2016) therefore you may find it a bit quiet but it is nothing to do with the taste!. As a Japanese, I am very happy to find this place!! (This place opens from 12:00-22:30 except for Monday)

I love this place! The okonomiyaki tasted as well as I expected and there are also several other tasty things to order. And good beer, sweet and delicious desserts!
