We came especially from AlexanderPlatz to try and taste the Buffalo/Bison meat, but they were out of it.I had to settle ;) for 300 gr. of wagyu steak which was perfectly cooked! With a glass of wine on the side, it was flawless.Simply worth the time travling their. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Goldhorn Beefclub:
Impressive meat presentation (fridges), and variety. Except for meat main course, the menu is not really convincing. Wine list could also be improved. 3.5 points is fair. View all feedback.
Unfortunately not a balanced price-performance ratio, meat tastes absolutely bland
The food was excellent, unfortunately only my steak was a bit tough. My friends' steaks were all soft as butter. The side dishes were very good and the spinach was seasoned a little differently, more Asian than typically German, but excellent. The cooking levels were all adhered to. The service was very friendly and courteous, but ... on a Saturday evening a restaurant is of course well attended. It is not a large restaurant with a number of tables, but high-quality service requires adequate staff. There was a station waiter super friendly for all tables and I think a runner was a bit annoyed, also a very nice receptionist and a bartender. Since every table was occupied, the station waiter was always very friendly and we had to wait a minute for the bill. Instead of just one station waiter, maybe a second one would be helpful so that the service really remains completely upscale. Unfortunately, I know myself that good service staff is hard to find and only a few are really interested in such a job, working weekends and holidays, family unfriendly times, etc. Still, it would be worth a try. The farewell was very friendly and it was in itself a successful evening. Thank you
The restaurant backed out of my Open Table reservation minutes prior to our arrival. When I called the restaurant, the hostess who answered told me sorry about your luck we cannot help. If you need this restaurant for anything other than a casual dinner, look elsewhere
The ambience is okay. The audience is now normal to simple. The service is courteous, but not outstandingly competent. We had two straks with three side dishes and a starter soup. The gr steak was sent back once, instead of being medium rare, it was done. The new meat was mostly raw and inedible, a miserable achievement for an upscale steakhouse. The price was billed in full, the service did not ask for espresso grappa etc. to conclude. Conclusion: overrated and no longer recommended
