The waiterbar... read more We happened upon Fellas this evening, and I am so glad! It is a lovely little restaurant tucked away off the main road, and is cozy on the inside. The waiterbartender was attentive and friendly, and we felt relaxed as soon as we sat down....The food was excellent. We started off with a cheese schnitzel that was out of this world! Three of us shared it, and it was the perfect way to start off the meal. I had beef goulash as my entree, and it was the best goulash I have ever had in my life. The meat was tender, the napkin dumplings were outstanding, and the fried egg was an interesting addition. My husband ordered an apple strudel for dessert, and was quite pleased. This is really a very good choice for homestyle German food

Not only is this one of my favorite neighborhoods in Berlin it also has fantastic food and a busy bar scene. Most days we would come back just to...eat and hang out after the day exploring. Fellas was our first night out after arriving. We sat outside the menu was contemporary German cuisine and it was great. I had pork schnitzel while my partner had a salad with fish and our friend had beef stew. We shared appetizers, tried a variety of German and Czech beers and three hours later we were still there enjoying the street scenes and feeling totally satisfied. The menu has other more international dishes as well but the kitchen knows their way around German cuisine and should be a part of the meal. Fellas is a must try in the neighborhood if you are looking for well prepared German cuisine and a relaxing night out with friends. Will be back
