Facil was the first Michelin-starred restaurant we went to and we definitely made the right choice. If you love food and are in the area, you should definitely book a table. We were there for lunch because there is usually a set menu at dinner and we wanted to choose our own dishes, but we will definitely be back for dinner next time we are in Berlin. The food is absolutely fantastic. Just look at the pictures. They are a work of art and absolutely delicious. Each dish has so much flavor and is unique in its own way. We especially enjoyed the desserts. The staff are of course also exceptional and very nice. When we were there, they made a small mistake with the cutlery, which we wouldn't have even noticed if they hadn't apologized to us. 5/5 experience. The food was great, although the bonus course from the waiter 's mistake, the tomato made from gazpacho was average (not being gazpacho loves is why we didn 't order it). All of the other courses were fantastic and we must pass our compliments to the chef.
A fantastic experience, with a minor fault. The food was absolutely amazing. Moreover, the wine pairing was the best I've ever experienced. Perfect, really. The only reason this restaurant doesn't get 5 stars is one fault in which one dish came out with live little bugs inside it. They replaced it of course, and it's rather understandable when the ingredients are so fresh but it's not something you'd expect from a restaurant like this, with this kind of price tag. All in all, I'll definitely come back!
General impression is disappointment. As a Michelin 2 stars restaurant, I am underwhelmed by its menu’s creativity and taste complexity. The taste is relatively flat note across all courses and most of them are too salty, which may have covered other tastes the dish intended to bring. Also the truffle oil taste was also dominate in all sauces so the dishes taste very similar throughout. I voiced my concern on the saltiness to the waiter but there was no change at all made to the remaining courses. I guess because the “taste menu” was all pre-fixed so customization or changes were impossible. The waiter also made excuses that it’s because the menu is designed for European taste palete so as an Asian I might not be accustomed to it. I expected more customer sensitivity for a 2 star designation.
Few months later I decided to write a review. FACIL is my favorite restaurant in the world right now. All the dishes were phenomenal and full of flavors. I can’t even pick which was the best dish but their wagyu and guinea fowl was definitely the best I ever had. Very speechless with all the food and not to mention the good service and ambiance. Can’t wait to come back!!
This restaurant has made me lose all faith in the reliability of Michelin stars. The service was excellent. However, not a single dish of the entire 8 course dinner was above average and some were simply not worth eating (there were some dishes my wife and I simply didn't bother to finish because the taste and quality was so below expectations). The wine pairings were similarly uninspired and did not save the mediocre food. Not at all worth the price or the reputation.

Lovely two-star Michelin on the rooftop. In a glass box surrounded by trees you feel you are in a forest rather than the middle of Berlin. The lighting and...

I will always have fond memories of Facil as it is my first Michelin meal. The restaurant is an oasis of calm amid the hustle and bustle of city life. The modern, creative food is beautifully presented. The service, impeccable. Their dessert, Forest, is simply...exquisite.
Great food! Each gang was courageous and harmoniously arranged. Greatly selected wines and a perfect and personal service. Thank you for the unforgettable evening!
This was our first Michelin star experience and a life changing event. Every mouthful, either food or wine, was a symphony. No detail was overlooked.....even the smoking area with a view of the kitchen and with fresh flowers received attention. When we discussed the meal at home, it was impossible for us to choose a favourite wine or dish. It was all AMAZING! Thank you to the sommelier, front of house staff and chefs for your passion, daily commitment and sacrifices to make these experiences possible for people like us. It's often a thankless job with undeserved critique but I hope our appreciative feedback reminds you that you touch people's lives and souls with your craft and skill.
Außerordentlich tolles Essen, angenehme Weinbegleitung, top Service. Ambiente leider etwas nüchtern zu sehr Kongresshotel Flair
My latest outing to Facil and always a joy to eat here. One of my consistent favourite eateries, anywhere. The invention and taste exploration is right up there, with some of the best presentation in town. My Hamachi, Wool Pig and Raspberry dessert particularly flavourful....Hats off team Facil

This was a great lunch with accessible tastes and great products (Wagyu-Rind, Lachs). My only point of criticism would be that the two main courses and the two desserts were somewhat repetitive in taste, but that is also due to the fact that the lunch card does not aim at ordering several main courses and desserts. I will definitely come back again.
The Facil is a firm size in Berlin’s top gastronomy and offers a welcome fine contrast program to the “young wilds” in the scene, which always have a strenuous missionary. This is absolutely strange for Michael Kempf, because it is exclusively about “casual fine dining” in the best sense of the word, and that is worth two stars without whether or not.
The kitchen by Michael Kempf is not easy to bring to a point because everything meets the golden middle in a certain way. The dishes are complex but not overcomplex. They are harmonious, but there are also contrasts, they are finely tuned, but not filigree, have expressive power, but are not forced. The combinations are exceptional, but not experimental. What is quickly at risk of slipping into the due average does not happen here. Everything works harmoniously and makes joy. The moderator is simply a very nice restaurant that offers a nice atmosphere for lunch, whether you choose from the lunch or dinner menu.
I have the feeling – I say this now completely unprotected – it is in a creative trial phase that lacks a little direction. Maybe he cooked a little tired and needed a whole new challenge, some of his own place.
