Inspired by Tim Raue 's visit, I had the opportunity to visit Do De Li with good friends who were visiting Berlin from Baden-Württemberg. The online reservation was a bit tricky, but Ms. Do more than made up for it on the phone. Quote: Ringle, what a cute name!

Do De Li Chinese Restaurant was okay, but not amazing for us. The food was decent and tasted fairly authentic, but nothing really stood out enough to wow us or make it memorable. The biggest downside was the service. The waitresses felt quite inattentive — we had to wait to get their attention a few times. I understand the place gets very busy, which might explain it, but it still affected the overall experience. The restaurant itself was crowded and lively, which is good if you like a busy atmosphere, but it also added to the feeling of being rushed and overlooked. Overall, it’s an average spot if you’re already in the area, but not somewhere I’d go out of my way to return to.
After 10 days of German and Czech food, we were ready for a change. Our concierge our hotel near Ku’damm recommended this place, saying it accommodates people who can’t tolerate MSG. When we got there, Liu the owner welcomed us warmly and helped us with the menu. We chose noodles with a thin fried chicken cutlet (really good), and she created a new dish based on our cravings (beef and vegetables, also very good). Liu told us that there’s been a Chinese restaurant in that spot since the 1920s!
Absolutely great experience! This Chinese restaurant is a true gem in Berlin. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and welcoming! Service was fast and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, perfect for both a casual dinner and a special evening out. Great value for money as well. Highly recommended — we will definitely come back!
One of the most authentic Chinese restaurants I’ve visited. The staff is incredibly lovely and made the experience feel very welcoming from start to finish. The highlight was definitely the Crossing the Bridge Noodle Soup with seafood, very flavorful and fresh. I can’t recommend this place enough. 10/10.

The place is nice, people are friendly. It is full most of the times. It looks like a family run business. There is a fantastic dog they have. I recommend it.
Stopped in randomly and I thoroughly enjoyed the food. A GIANT rice noodle soup that was described as fire hot and was exactly that....fire hot, spicy chilly in perfect combination with Sichuan pepper. In Berlin it is extremely difficult to get spicy food to the extent that Chinese, Indian, Thai, Mexicans and US Americans are accoustomed too. This soup makes you break a sweat instantly. The chef special ribs were also delicious and the simple vegetable fried egg rice was delicious as well with a unique flavor that I have never had before but highly recommend. The restaurant was filled with almost all Chinese clientele which if nothing else, is evidence of authentic cuisine. The service was also friendly, patient and organized.
The food served is of good quality and tasteful. The service is average, but we did not have to wait too much before getting our food. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice. Prices are correct (we paid 30€ for 2 people, with appetizer, meal and a bottle of water). Don't take too damageable clothes, as you will most probably smell chinese food after eating there.
During our vacation in Berlin we visited also this restaurant. The restaurant had a good location, entering inside you can see that it is modern furnished. We tried some items evrything had a good taste. The waiters were friendly. We were satisfied and we will visit it again by our next vacation in Berlin.
Kantstrasse is a hotspot for great asian food, but Do De Li was the best I had yet. chinese cuisine wih great noodle soup dishes, house specialties and nice atmosphere and not too heavy on the wallet. it seems very authentic to me as a westerner at least and it sure was not my last visit.
