We had lunch at Daniella today after a 3 1/2 hour boat tour of the Spree. The restaurants from the boat dock on Luisenplatz Way to Otto Suhrstr. (leading to the Richard-Wagner U-Bahn station) looked crowded and just too tourist-oriented for us. Daniella was quiet but friendly and efficient, with menus in German, Italian, and excellent English. My partner ordered a salad and I ordered a pasta one, followed by an excellent desert. Presentation of the food was superb, the staff were friendly, and we had the choice of tables outside or inside. This is a modest restaurant with excellent cuisine and a superb atmosphere. We will return to this modest, high quality restauran often when in Berlin.
Very rude waiter, he throw my cutlery. He don't cut pizza because we ordered only pizza and beer xD or just we look "poor". But to be honest pizza was tasty.
Menu has a lot of options: pizza, salat, pasta, meat, fish, dessert. Prices reasonable. Everything we got was tasty, portions in good size, but food was a little bit different quality than written in menu, like regular cheese filled instead of ricotta. But in total we are 4* satisfied. ????
