Curry & Chilli - Berlin

Für mich die beste Currywurst in der Hauptstadt. Ich war schon ein paar mal da...von Tempelhof in den Wedding ist auch schon einiges an Km und auf dem Weg könnte man auch bei C36 was futtern, aber mir schmeckt es beim Curry & Chilli wesentlich besser. Wenn der Chef da ist quatsche ich auch länger mit ihm...echt sehr nett. Am Wochenende war mal eine Dame da...da war der Service nicht so toll. Über die Schärfegrade 6-10 kann ich nichts berichten, bin bisher nur bis 5 gekommen und das reicht mir auch. Pommes sind auch lecker...es ist auf jeden Fall wert quer durch die Stadt zu fahren. Ich freue mich schon aufs nächste mal...

Der absolute Wahnsinn was Frank und seine Mitarbeiter dort anbieten! Immer wieder ein Genuss und unglaublich lecker! Wer ein wenig risikofreudig ist und etwas Schärfe riskieren möchte, hat freie Auswahl! Hier ist für jeden etwas dabei, selbst wenn es am Ende nur die Habanero Chips werden Absolut zu empfehlen und ein Muss für jeden Berliner Touristen, der eine echte Berliner Currywurst probieren möchte!

I have heard about this special curry wurst places across Germany (also in Frankfurt) which can give you the ideal opportunity to test you limit if you have one in terms of your scoville (scale of spiciness) tolerance. I was so glad to find it finally in Berlin. It was like Mecca to us. So they day we were leaving Berlin, decided to give this place a try for breakfast (not a good idea though). We tried level 8 sauce first, which didn't seem to affect us at all. Then we went up to the highest one of level 10. It was real hot (7.7 mio Scoville). Had a few drops of tear coming out and a bit of runny nose. Otherwise we were fine. The sausages are tasty (if you still believe we are still left with any tastebuds). If I would have find it out earlier, would have surely gone for the mugshot effort (if you can take all 1 to 10 sauces they will put a picture of you in one of the walls outside the stall), but the sheer idea of having heavy 10th saudafor breakfast was too much(and we had a flight to catch as well in few hours). Still the owner seemed happy with our performance and share d groupfie with us in the Facebook page of the outlet.

Très mauvais accueil lors de la commande, apparemment parce que mon allemand n'est pas très bon. La personne a vivement manifesté son agacement parce que je n'ai pas demandé les frites en même temps que les saucisses ; puis elle a pris un air exaspéré quand j'ai demandé des boissons en plus.Mon repas a été totalement gâché par cet accueil peu sympathique. Pour le goût, c'est loin d'être le meilleur currywurst que j'ai essayé à Berlin. Pas cher par contre.

Berlino è piena di localini che preparano il curry chili, specialità tipica berlinese. Si tratta di wurstel di vario tipo, tagliati a pezzetti e serviti con patatine fritte, maionese e/o ketchup, oltre ad eventuale salsa piccante. Da non perdere assieme ad una buona birra.
