I find most burgers in Europe rubbery and with a bad taste. this place specializes in unusual burger toppings. mine came with goat cheese, honey, tomato and walnuts. the best of all, the bark was fresh and delicate, and the restaurant is also a bookstore that leads some English books.
Together with a few colleagues in this residential area to eat something, e.g. informal dinner. the food was in order (I had a typical German flamcake,) but nothing extraordinary. simple, well prepared food. the service was good.
A sweet little caffe that sells books with breakfast and lunch. it closes quite early, but is ideal for an intensive breakfast with family/friends. the service is a bit slow (and I was there a few times) but the atmosphere and the good eating/drinking make the acceptable.
We have a nice breakfast in this bistro. my advice to save money: ask for the ice cream and add it speck. it will be about 5.6 € instead of 8.5 €. the same eggs and the same speck with brot and butter. to two, a small pressed coffee is also enough for two people. that is fantastic and peaceful. have fun!

There are two undoubtful benefits with Buchkantine their fantastic tea (2,5 EUR and that they show Tatort on Sundays at 20:00. The price are about average and the whole spirit of the place is more like intellectual, so I am not say that's the place one would go everyday, but on Sundays at 20:00 very nice place to be. they have a summer terrase facing the Spree ;
This place is great! They have a lovely menu and the food is awesome, I have fruit with yoghurt, a good size and fresh. Then I had a cheeseburger on gluten free bread, it was delicious perfectly cooked and well assembled. There are heaps of books everywhere as it doubles as a bookshop. Great place to work or read from or just sit for a while and sip coffee or tea. There is the buzz of jabbering happy germans in the back around. Again no english menu but the wait staff speak english which is great. I had two long black (Americana) coffees which were tasty. I would have given 5 stars however the service was slightly slow and one of the staff was a little bit grumpy which was disappointing as its a really cool and chilled out place!
We came here for late breakfast due to good reviews on yelp. The place is nice, the weather made it possible to enjoy the sun outside which made the experience really nice. The waiter was really nice, helped us with our choice and did a good job in general. The food was ok, but the prices rose significantly since some of the other yelpers were there. I must say that for the price, the breakfast now is quite average. I consider paying 9 eur a bit steep for getting a few slices of salami and cheese with some butter. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but I could enjoy the same meal for half the price in the local bar. That's why I took a star here. Te coffe was really good and we enjoyed the breakfast, but next time I would maybe just stop by for the coffee.
Unique shop that is half-bookstore, half coffee house. I ordered a pie and coffee, and both were delicious. It's looks like a great place to have dinner as well, with an extensive menu from appetizers to main plates to dessert. There are different kinds of people here, from individuals, to couples, to girlfriends, to families. I like the patio seating outside too. It's a bit pricey for similar coffee shops in Berlin, but the offering is worth it, for a unique experience. I took out a star because the service is terrible. They are short staffed and it could take 30 minutes or more for a waiter to accommodate you. I came here alone and was in no rush initially, but it got to the point that I had stayed so long at the place because I wasn't attended to immediately, and I can't even leave right away because they haven't given me my bill yet. Waiting is stressful when you get to a place relaxed, in the mid-afternoon, only to rush waitstaff because they are taking so long that you will miss your late night flight.
I used to come here on Sunday evenings for Tatort. It is a lovely bar/cafe with fairly tasty food. There is nothing really special about it though, but for someone living not too far a way a good possibility for lunch, dinner or a coffee break. The prices are above average for both food and beverages, considering other places in Moabit.

I have been here more often, but this time I was a bit disappointed by the service. We were quickly served, but after we received our order, we were very late and no one once asked whether it should be. At least one drink would have been in there. The call system on the table was defective, which was apparently known. All in all, the staff did not radiate a great pleasure....
