What Ilona Bergmann dislikes about Bourbon Dogs:
This place had hotdogs and cocktails. The hotdog was a bit overpriced for my liking and took long considering it was all prepared and put together behind the bar. Other than that the drinks where delicious and the bar staff was friendly and funny. The kind of place I would go for an awkward date View all feedback.
A small place, with a great variety of craft beers and bourbons. the food we tasted was really good but I think it was too expensive. it's very good for drinking and for a snack.
Visited the place on the Foodservice Trendtour. The Hot Dogs they serve are very special and according to meat loving people very taste full! The assortment of bourbon whiskey's was very nice. The owner of the founder of the place is Dutch so the Dutch how to run a nice place like this.
We randomly came across this place online whilst trying to find some food to eat during our few days in Berlin, and it was so good that we ended up eating here twice. As the name would suggest the bar specialises in spirits and hot dogs, which were great (and on a Sunday they offer a deal on lobster rolls). On top of that, the drinks menu was full of different beers and ales from around the world, all at fair prices - beers were around 5-6 each, cocktails around 8-9, the various spirits ranged from 4 - 10 euros each, and the hot dogs were around the 7 euros. The food is prepared behind the bar by the bar tenders and does take a bit of time, but when it arrives you'll enjoy the treat. The staff were all very friendly and happy to have a chat and make recommendations of places to visit - lacking in the German lingo, they all spoke a fantastic level of English which helped out a lot.The venue is small, perhaps seating no more than 25 inside, but it definitely has a cosy rather than a cramped feel to it. Definitely worth a visit.
