Bocca del Buen Gusto - Berlin

We stumbled across this place by chance - seems to be family run. Excellent service, a bit noisy from big group tables, but fantastic pasta. The ravioli was delicious, as was the bread to mop the sauce up with. Nice house red wine too!

We arrived here having left another restaurant and being directed to Papa Pane which was stuffed full of people. Despite our distinctly iffy Italian and German language skills we were welcomed and treated with politeness and humour. Despite the delightful service and really nice surroundings the highlight was the food which was sensational. Four of us ate and we all loved our choices. The tomato soup was the equal of that we had eaten at three times the cost in the Fernsehturm the day before, the gnocchi was the best we'd ever had and the lamb ragu was too delicious for words. All washed down with a tasty Sicilian grillo.We shared a couple of tiramisu for dessert and left knowing that we had eaten at a place that we will visit every single time we return to Berlin.

We found this restaurant by chance, but after having dinner here, I can surely say that we found a piece of Italy on the streets of Berlin. The pizza was the best we ever had, the ingredients simple but of a superior quality. The prices are on the low-middle range. The staff was friendly and very polite.

We arrived at 9 and the place was packed on a Friday Evening. The food was excellent but the service was slow. The restaurant was empty around 10 30 and the waiters started to cleen the place and blow out candles. The service also stopped and we had to ask for grappa. It is a shame as the food was excellent.

We went to this place after not being able to get in a pizzeria around the corner. We were glad of it as the food and wine was very nice and it has a much better atmosphere!
