It is a difficult balancing act, I would say they need to work on being a little more present between servings The head waitress was engaging and charismatic, she did a great job and made the evening enjoyable
It was amazing service but not the best of food
Good day when I visit, as usual once in year berlin, I like to stand in the hotel titanic gendarmenmarkt. After a long day with sightseeing and excursions, I'd like to go to her steakhouse in the evening. So I was more often with them. unfortunately I don't remember a successful meal for Saturday night. when I arrived, I had indicated the reservation, but no one interested. After I had taken a place, I was asked if I wanted to drink something and I ordered a bottle of water, which was also provided quickly. after that, I waited for someone to ask for more. I ordered a creammant, as an appetizer an salat and as a main dish a steak. for the aperitiw waited about minutes and then immediately the salat came. When I asked to put the salat a bit cool, I got to answer, "Where should I do him then I asked for the wine card. obviously they only have one example, because I got them only after they were not needed on another table. I had chosen the rioja who was very good. after a pleasant break the steak came with sweet potato chips and a steak sauce. the meat was very good, but almost cold, while the pommes were glowing hot. such a thing would not happen to me at maredo or Block-House and there is something wrong in their price-performance ratio. can I not expect to be served as a single guest for about € for a meal, that it is served formally and properly tempered? as much as I appreciate the ambiente of her local, I don't think I'm going back there. for this I know in the immediate neighbourhood too many alternatives in which a good food and friendly service await. friendly greetings manfred dinges
The food was great like always, the quality of the service can still improve a lot. Though it looked there were enough people it took really long till we could order
For valentine day the managing director would have wanted to hire a few more service forces. the employees were trying but completely overwhelmed. Furthermore, the music was well chosen for a romantic evening, but too loud.
