Barist - Berlin

Eating was nice, but they accept if they don't leave a big enough tipp. the menu is somewhat limited and the drinks expensive.

We waited 15 minutes for drinks. after 40 minutes the margherita of my partner arrived. 20 minutes later my carving arrived, at which time her meal was cold. that is a number one large, no for restaurants. though I praise what the manager looked like. he was very annoyed about it and checked us again and again. eating itself was quite basic, but filling. the prices are too high.

We had to wait for the food for 45 minutes. My order was not what I had requested. I made 2 attempts to get my order corrected but never got it correct. It was very hard to get the waiters attention and they barely spoke...any english. I demanded to get at least a discount for the bad service and wrong order, but the staff did not give me any discount. One waiter told me to leave the restaurant and looked like he was going to punch me. It is an unacceptable service.

Berlin is a bit weird on a Monday All the museums on museum island are shut? So we were at a bit of a loose end having done east side gallery and the rest of the main areas in Mitte Wandering around and found Barist...Wasn’t sure as it felt like a bit of a tourist trap but it was really good My linguine alla pugliese was brilliant Emma enjoyed her goats cheese salad too The whole lunch, including a beer and an aperol was like 36 euros Very impressed

Too long 2 chiefs for too much tables. 1h30 of waiting for 2 pizzas Theo didn’t prévention us and no commercial offer !
