What strangecharm doesn't like about Alnatura Mitte:
The breading fell completely off my schnitzel and I’m certain it wasn’t fried in butter. Our standards for gluten free food are so low it’s very sad. It was passable, but it wasn’t *good*. View all feedback.
The food is amazing! Our waiter was super nice and knowledgeable. I got the cordon bleu and they made it gluten free for me. the fried potatoes were the best i’ve ever had, even better than cheesy american diners! i also got the toblerone mouse for dessert and that was amazing as well. When i first told the waiter i was celiac he didn’t really understand just because he doesn’t know the german word for celiac but i quickly explained and he knew exactly what it was so don’t give up right away if they don’t respond correctly right away. It’s been like that in munich and berlin so you just have to explain better and then they will know what you are saying. i would reccomend getting celiac cards in the german language like i do.
Amazing service and schnitzel. And they have gluten free beer as well. My German girlfriend says you can't even tell the difference really.
Two restaurants can be found under the name Schnitzelei in Berlin. On an evening in August 2018, I visited the complex in the middle of the district and would like to report to you about my impressions that emerged at the time. Of course, this restaurant is also a program. They thrive after one of the most popular German foods, surely first trusts in attractive quality here. For me personally, however, it was another aspect of the menu that made me aware of carving: the so-called “German tapas”. Fish and meat classics, but also vegetarian dishes of German cuisine can be tasted here in Tapas-Portion. This sounded for me after a perfect meal, as I appreciate diversity and would like to try out some small things. A few words to set up the restaurant, which is initially hidden in the courtyard area of a residential block and is therefore often not found at the moment. But popularity does not seem to be a break, the restaurant was almost completely booked on my spontaneous arrival. Rather, an advantage of this situation is shown, since at least the noise of the main road is not impaired here. The seating is also located in the simply modern furnished guest room at generous intervals, so that the volume is well distributed. Of course there was also an outdoor area and there are also a few seats at the bar. The latter also made it possible for me to return to carving without reservation, as they were almost always free for individual guests. Interior view. A positive conclusion can also be drawn with regard to the operation. Despite a full restaurant, I was looking for a place as a spontaneous guest as mentioned. The waiting period was a bit long, but my demand was friendly and fast, so I didn't seem to forget completely. The final payment was then re-established. As I said, I was very interested in the German tapas. A large selection of 3.6 or 9 small bowls can be ordered, which then come on a wooden board in a clear and easy to transport. The selection ranges from Berliner Currywurst and boils up to fish food or trout mousses to Obazda as well as greypee salads and leaves nothing to be desired. I wanted to go all-in, and that's why I'm going to be serving the following nine things: Deutsche Tapas. Among the creations I am particularly pleased with the excellent garden mini-kartoffeln with an aromatic herb gurke, which is supple by linseed oil. Also the beautifully loose and juicy fish frescoes with suitable acidity and intense dillaroma in the additional Remoulade remained me well in memory (in the picture the 4th shell from the left). Even the small plums in the bacon were unbeatable for me with still crusty bacon, as well as a good balance of sweetness and saltiness (in the picture the 4th bowl from the right). A good performance was placed, for example, in the creamy goat cheese with caramel hood and thyme (in the picture the 3rd shell from the right). The mini-cabins also convinced with a still juicy meat filling, and I would have liked the added bacon tips even more (in the picture on the right). Also juicy were the small boulevards, which were classically accompanied by Senf, but who could not keep the annated beard bottle notes as expected (in the picture the 2nd shell from the left). Small blood sausage sections could have been a bit sharper for my taste, while the apple compact enough to do this was positively surprised with the acid-integrated pomegranate cores (the third shell from the left in the picture). However, I would not like to mention, for example, the tomato beer salad, which was rather taste-neutral because of the un seasoned tomatoes and the small beer bread salads, which unfortunately did not allow to perceive a beer aroma (the 3rd bowl from the right). I would also have hoped for more tastes from the red-beet-walnut dip, which in itself is crispy and fresh garden vegetables, in which the typical earthly taste was only slightly pronounced and no longer tastes walnut (the 2nd bowl of the right). Overall, the tapas with heights and depths brought the desired tasteful change with 19.5 € for 9 bowls, although a rather proud symptom should be produced. I also wanted to convince myself of the restaurant's core competence: the various dishes around the Schnitzel. So it should be the Cordon Bleu from the chest of Paderborn Maishähnchen, which was filled with turkey ham and emmentaler, and were placed in the garden vegetables and roast potatoes. For this court, €16.5 was requested. Cod Bleu from the chest of Paderborner Maishähnchen with garden vegetables and roast potatoes. Cod Bleu was served with wonderfully crowned crust. The male chicken meat was well cooked and therefore not dry, which can be very fast in poultry. The filling also met the tasteful expectations and was divided into an appealing amount. On the other hand, the vegetables could have been a bit more crisp, but it wasn't completely overgart. However, I did not give salt and pepper shakers here. Also the otherwise prepared roast potatoes had the same taste as the vegetables. In a judiciary with a strong sauce it was perhaps not a problem, but as such lacked, the supplements made a rather taste-neutral and also a little dry impression. So a little more you could come from the court, but it cannot be called a tasteful pure fall. The carving company gave me a very successful conclusion of the day in the centre of the capital without reservation. While the German tapas were a really well-reacted change, there were still some things for me at the main food that are quite better at this price level.
Busy and good service and very delicious schnitzel!
Die Schnitzel sind sehr dünn geklopft worden. Fast alle Schnitzel können mit einem Glutenfreien Maispaniermehl paniert werden. Super lecker und auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen
