The fallafels should be fresh made on order the Halloumi was good fried fresh. The spring roll wasnt fried enogh and the spinach inside wasnt chewable, I was just chewing and chewing and finally spit it out. Lots of choices and reasonably priced. 7 euros for vegetarian plate. Bread was cold.

The first was a halloumi sandwich, which was... read more I've been coming to Ali Baba for almost a year: I won't be returning after today. I ordered four sandwiches to go. The first was a halloumi sandwich, which was way below standard size (I would go so far as to say it was anemic) and which tasted greasy. The second and third were combos with undercooked falafel, chicken shawarma, and large shards of carrots, something which has never appeared in sandwiches from Ali Baba before. The last, a kafta, contained a whole unpeeled raw carrot. We suspect the carrots were inserted into the sandwiches to make them appear fuller or heavier, but we do not know. This was a great establishment when we first started coming. However, after several minor snafus in previous visits and now this, it's clear the quality has vanished completely. Don't waste your time or your money. Try one of the other 20 shawarma places in the vicinity instead.
