Acud itself is a bar/club/art room/music place. minutillo is the daily restaurant part that serves excellent versions of Austrian Nordic classics. before it came from the fountain road, we enjoyed fantastic osso buco among others. every day they really make one of the best white carvings in the city. it is only open up to about 5 o'clock, but worth a visit.
I was eager to experience ACUD Kino’s indie charm—what a disappointment. The elevator was broken, so climbing to the upstairs screening room was a strenuous ordeal. Once inside, the air conditioning blasted Arctic-level cold, making the audience shiver more than the plot . The seat cushions were hard and uncomfortable, and the screen lighting flickered during the show. The sound cracked in moments, undermining the arthouse immersion they tout in festival brochures . The staff was distant and inattentive, offering no explanation or apology for the technical issues. To top it off, the foyer was cramped and inadequately lit, with poor signage that left people wandering around before discovering the stairwell entrance. With overhyped programming and underwhelming execution, this supposedly “cozy” cinema felt more like a frustrating, unprofessional ordeal. I won’t be back.
