One evening stood police and customs in front of the door... this is already one or two years ago. the next morning the restaurant was closed and the furniture was almost completely cleared out. strange that it is still recommended here. well were eating and ambiente only at the beginning, then it went downhill and the closure was only consistent. who likes to look: the load has been empty...
With a very short overnight stay in Berlin, I had time enough to literally walk/run by most of the historical attractions in Berlin. As it was starting to get dark and I was at my hotel, I was hoping beyond hope that I would fine a decent restaurant to eat at that evening. I gave myself a two block radius since I was a single woman and wasn't familiar with the area. Was I surprised when I came upon Aaina Restaurant! It was just what the doctor ordered! It was very crowded and with many Asian amongst the patrons, I felt that it was a good choice. I was not disappointed! The choices abundant and service was prompt and cooly friendly. The food was the real high point, although I had a great time people watching during my meal. My meal - A tofu and veggie dish with garlic swimming in a coconut milk sauce. It was delicious. Very reasonably priced as well. For me it was a jewel crowning a beautiful few hours in an amazing city!
It is still singapur, but in principle it is an Indian restaurant. Finally there are more Indian food than singapur. but this is not so important. in the selection of beers you can choose between bier and beer from thailand and india. the personal is very friendly, the ambiente quite nice and the quality of the food are good.
The aaina in charlottenburg has become one of our favorite restaurants. the servis is very good here you will be welcomed with linsenbrot and a small drink. the prices are small and very inexpensive for the size of the portions, since you always get a fresh salad. when you get his bill at the end you will be given a friendly smile and a small snap. I can advise anyone who is on Asian cuisine and is to be gassed in charlottenburg, just go to aaina and make a wonderful evening.
We were there at the last weekend (Filiale Westend/Charlottenburg) when there was a high performance by various Christmas celebrations. nevertheless very friendly service, free aperitif small appetizer(Papadams sauces) before ordering. very tasty eating, the menu mixes Indian with other Asian dishes. There are different filials, therefore best look into the internet, which is best to reach
