When we approached th... read more We were a mixed Indian group of 6 looking for a good night in berlin. as recommended by the accommodation, we tried to come in 40 seconds. When we approached the club, we heard the doorsteps say “no no no” when they looked at us. they had sent someone to talk to us and the first question they had asked was: “Where do you come from?” our natural response was london where we live, and not where our coming from comes due to our skin color. the dame then went back to the door staff that continued to say no. they then said that we could only come to the club if we would buy a table for 500 €. we refused and they had told us we should go. I would like to point out that there was no waiting queue and the club was not full. if we had been left in the club, we would probably have been able to spend more than €500 behind the cash, but the rejection by the staff at the doorway meant that we did not. it was a terrible experience and I believe that we were denied to start the race due to the asking they put us. this seemed to be a common thema under clubs in berlin, which I could hardly accept in 2016. I would not recommend 40 seconds to anyone and I hope that they will rethink their door policy for those who only try to have a good time in a new city.

There arrived a mess at the entrance as the club was totally overcrowded by a reception drink was not to think-where no one was offered... If you were going to the bar and had the luck to order, you would best have bought drinks on stock - because when you left the bar, the next drink went far away... The roof terrace, which is so beautifully advertised, was also completely overcrowded at the club and not designed for the crowd of guests at the club. Thus, the New Year's Change was announced within the club and not as beautifully described on the huge Terasse...also a new experience. The only positive thing to say was that the music that was played-the was really good!! Just a pity that was as good as no place to dance... My conclusion - a club of the higher class looks a clear no go for me!
