I wrote a review about the tubbies in Royal Oak of the Berkeley Spot is much better steak and cheese was fabulous, which in Royal Oak was mostly salad and tomatoes dried the meat View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tubby's Sub Shop:
They lost me as a customer. I always spend $60 or more orders 6 subs asked for extra sauce lady gave me 4 small sauces for 6 subs I told her I didn't get extra and to just get me a bottle of sauce to buy instead she just said I can just give you more with a nasty attitude gave me 2 more which still is not extra if I had 6 subs but will be going to the 8 mile location. It had been so long since I had a tubby's beef and cheese before this. Still one of the most awesome subs in detroit.

They're staff is fully vaccinated so this place is my go to for that reason first. The fries and veggie stir fry sub are my favorite. Always made to order quick and friendly service.
The food is fast and good. However, they never have wheat bread. They just do not make it. So if you are looking for a healthier option and trying to avoid eating bleach that is in white bread you have to choose another location.
I experienced excellent customer service! I hadn't had Tubby's in ten years, and the sandwich was quite good. The service really stood out as being outstanding.
