had a surprise meal for our daughter 21 there with a party of 12 people. the service was brilliant and the food was absolutely delicious. very recommend the bbq ribs they were a meal on their own faust. will visit again there and want to taste their Sunday dinner. forget the restaurants in the high street that you beat them all. Possibly is the warmest and friendly pub in tring, the kings arms is a few minutes to foot from the high street, but is worth the effort.
Excellent pub, great real ales a speciality, friendly local, good hearty eating, mixed clientele, all age groups, no sky sports or obstrating machines or music.
That used to be one of my regular hunting when I worked in tring. I ate a pint today. they have a large selection of local ales; the one I had held good. I had fish and chips; they were excellent. the teig is homemade with a hauch of lemon crumbles. the fish was well cooked and accompanied by proper chips and mushy inherited.

Beautiful old pub, good beer and the menu looks good....whether we haven't eaten there this time, we'll be in the future.
