Service is quick and super friendly and the owner always makes you feel welcome. I threw my husband a small birthday party at Smoke and guests are still talking about the great food.

Disappointed but always willing to eat pulled pork, we decided to stay. Shawn, son of the chef/owner, then let us know that he had some brisket left- not enough for a full order but he would also throw that in. As we waited for our food Shawn gave us a small cup with the last piece of luscious tea-smoked salmon doused in a magical green sauce. We were then served a tray with a pile of pulled pork AND sliced links as well as the brisket and a chicken breast which was, again, not enough for them to sell as an order. While we were enjoying the bounty of food, Shawn came outside with 3 ribs on a plate and said he had just pulled them from the smoker and he wanted us to have those, as well! Not only did we leave with our bellies FULL of delicious barbeque, but our hearts full after the warm, considerate and generous customer service experience. We will return. The food is awesome but the customer service is sublime.

I ordered a mixed pork rib and beef brisket platter with jalapeño mac and cheese and collard greens for $18. The beef was tender and juicy, though not as flavorful as I had hoped. The ribs, however, were perfect. The portion size was generous and could have easily been shared between two people. Next time, I will opt for a single plate for $11, which also seems like a good value. I chose the medium BBQ sauce, which was served on the side and added a delicious, tangy flavor with a bit of a kick. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere with plenty of outdoor seating and a rustic feel. Only two employees work there, one handling the food and meat and the other taking orders, so if you are looking for fast food, this may not be the best option.

Originally located on San Pablo Avenue near the old car wash, we miss Tina (whom we all lovingly called Momma Tina), her son Shawn, and the rest of the crew. They are truly fantastic, and we hope that Tina is doing well.

One highlight was watching them make fresh-squeezed lemonade right in front of us! The Mac n Cheese was good, and the collard greens were also enjoyable - not as salty as other places I have tried. The customer service was excellent.
