This is the way fried rice should be cooked! It is not greasy, has a good amount of ingredients, meat, veggies in it. It may not look like much from the outside and on the inside but it is one of those, hole in the wall places, that has great food! View all feedback.
What slicksweet1 doesn't like about Oriental Chop Suey:
Food tasted like burnt grease. St. Paul had no seasoning. Prices on board was different from my total. I asked him why my food was so high and it wasn't adding up. He took forever trying to make out what I was saying, then finally said he went up on his prices. The man was taking orders and making orders...he was the only one there.
Many of these places need to upgrade their lobby area so customers can feel comfortable like the money spend is doing more then just being pocketed. Furthermore the last time I visited the food tasted as if it was cooked in old grease... The staff is very polite and every experience has definitely not been bad, But, more is expected from a restaurant or business that has been established and around for many years.. Stepping in your place should not remind me of the way it was back in the 80's Or 70's.. Please Upgrade and use Fresh Grease and Products Everytime, Thank You..
Food is good, and very fresh. Only negative I have in regards to my food was my egg role being over cooked. It was good but a little burnt. There is a big language barrier which caused issues with my order. When i initially called in I asked for half order of shrimp fried rice with bean sprouts and an egg role. Well let's just say she forgot the egg role. She showed me the paper where she took my order and she did not write it down. When you go here please have patience although it was a little irritating to not be able to understand them, but it's worth it. Very reasonably priced and big portions. Edit: The guy who answered the phone is very rude. Today (12-27-22) I tried to order over the phone as I did a week ago. As I was placing my order he kept cutting me off, then said that he was busy and would call back. And soon after he hung up on me, so I called back and told advised that he hung up on me while I was ordering. He then continued to say he is busy and hung up once again. Terrible customer service. When I drove by there a few minutes later there was only one or two people in their. They definitely lost a customer I would rather go on airport road to get my chop suey.
The food was good, the menu prices was all wrong and it was very difficult to understand the cashier, the lunch specials say it comes with egg roll or crab Rangoon, if you get an egg roll just know it's extra even tho it does not say it, and they do not do refunds
