Feedback
E-Z Stop Deli is a place full of surprises. I have ordered for them for a couple of undergrad events, and received stellar service both times. The first time, I didn 't hit the $200 delivery minimum with a partner account, and they delivered anyway. The second time, the $200 minimum had slipped my mind, and the owner called me and politely reminded me. He even offered to deliver it anyway, citing that it was no big deal if I didn 't want to buy another $60 platter. They also take a lot of pride in their food, which is commendable. Both of them, upon delivery, proudly beamed about how the food was made just fresh, which is great, because it allows me to serve the undergrad researchers the freshest food possible (which reflects well on my work). To their credit, the food was nothing to sneeze at- the Middle Eastern Platter was way better than I expected it to be, and the finger sandwiches got absolutely demolished by our guests.Between the fair pricing, excellent service, and delicious food, it 's hard to justify anything less than 5 stars.
I have been going here for years because their sandwiches are hearty portions. But today, the Reuben I ordered was half of what I was used to, size-wise. I commented that this isn 't a ten dollar sandwich and the cashier became argumentative (skinnier, middle aged and started to lecture to me what a Reuben is. The older guy (bigger yelled at him to stop and to give me a refund. Furthermore, the cashier exhibited creepy behavior with their female cashier (physical distance, language/ tone, verbiage.. saying shay shay to a female Asian customer after she displayed a Korean passport to purchase alcohol. I wouldn 't want any woman that I care about to go to E-Z stop. This place will be closed soon if they keep this behavior up.
