Champion’s Curry bringt japanischen Currygenuss mit einem unverwechselbaren amerikanischen Twist in die USA. Als traditionelle Spezialität aus Kanazawa, der kulinarischen Hochburg Japans, steht unser Curry für eine außergewöhnliche Reichhaltigkeit von Geschmack und Textur. Chef Yoshikazu Tanaka eröffnete 1961 das erste Champion’s Curry und kreierte damit den berühmten Kanazawa-Curry-Stil, der heute als Original von uns mit Stolz serviert wird. Unser Curry wurde schnell zum Renner und zog täglich bis zu 2.000 Gäste an. Aus diesem Erfolg wuchs eine bedeutende Fast-Food-Kette mit über 30 Standorten in Japan, hauptsächlich in der ursprünglichen Region. 2020 begann ein neues Kapitel mit der Eröffnung unseres ersten US-Standorts in Berkeley, Kalifornien, gefolgt von einer weiteren Filiale in Pasadena. Mit Chef Tanakas geheimem Originalrezept, verfeinert durch hochwertige amerikanische Zutaten, bieten wir ein modernes Fast-Casual-Erlebnis, das den japanischen Curryklassiker einem neuen Publikum näherbringt. Wir sind überzeugt, dass japanischer Curry – nach Ramen – das nächste große Food-Trendthema in den USA wird und freuen uns darauf, diese köstliche Speise im ganzen Land bekannt zu machen.
