The village of stone , Bergolo is an extremely pretty village well worth the climb up to it. There is also an old chapel on another hill on the other side of the village with panoramic views. Wild orchids and wild flowers abound at the right time of year. The Langhet resturant is set in its own grounds with a swimming pool, tennis courts a small climbing area and a few self catering cottages set well back. There are several waymarked walking routes starting from here, some as short as 45mins, others a couple of hours. There is a moderate sized car park and a picnic area with benches and barbeque site. The resturant changes its menu regularly and also has a wood burning pizza oven. It is moderate to high priced, but not as expensive as the other resturant actually in the village.

Lunch however was good, we had ravioli al plin drenched in Dolcetto; great!

Very nice place slightly higher than the main road and surrounded by trees and flower plants that make the location of this tavern cooler. We had lunch and drank very well with typical Piedmontese products from the chopped meat to the fantastic hazelnut cake. Excellent wine and excellent grappas, the latter rightly praised by the owner of the place. The presence of a swimming pool with sun loungers and games for children completes everything, which in this heat is not a bad thing. Everything perfect and fast and precise service. I liked it a lot.

Booked via whatsapp; the garden is well-kept as is the pool area; we dined outside: the dishes are excellent with quality local products. The staff is really kind. We highly recommend it!
