Contribute Feedback What Gaby Vogt likes about Trattoria Enoteca:
Although I usually do not Favor hotel indoor restaurants, as I like to scout the surroundings for a good meal, I found this one to be a real exception. Fine wine selection, A focused menu offering several options yet not giving you the impression of...“all goods are available here”, so you can feel the quality before even tasting. Very attentive service, yet not hurrying you to move through the courses, but actually... View all feedback.
What Janelle Bode doesn't like about Trattoria Enoteca:
as hotel guests of the grandhotel schloss bensberg we visited the restaurant 3 times during our stay. this should actually develop a certain attention on the part of the staff, especially since the peaks could each be called quite respectable. unfortunately we have. to say that despite the beautifully prepared and delicate dishes the service is moderately best. if I have to wait over an hour for the main course after... Stayed here for my first trip to Germany (or Europe for that matter . Affordable compared to American hotels, especially for what you get! Nicest place I've ever stayed in, and the staff were all so nice and accommodating. I foolishly forgot my electric outlet converters and the front desk had run out of them but they were happy to give me a USB hub so I could at least charge my phone. The rooms were clean and beautiful, very high ceilings with large windows that opened up to the courtyard. My bathroom had a standing shower, as well as a very roomy bathtub which was so wonderful to use after a long day of travel and business obligations. The hallways between the rooms were also beautiful and the front-facing ones were lovely to watch the sunset. The breakfast buffet was so good, and I loved the fresh squeezed juices they had. Restaurants on location were also all great, although we didn't get to try Vendome (bummer! . I'd recommend this place to anyone.
The property was fairy-tale like! My husband took me for a weekend for my birthday. He arranged for the staff to have champagne and cake at our arrival, which was such a cute surprise. It was close to Christmas time so the lights and the Cologne Christmas market gave it all an extra glow. We had a suite, which was very grand, spacious even for US standards. The dining facilities were opulent. It was a treat to stay here.
Whilst not quite as peaceful and relaxing as its sister hotel (Schlosshotel Lerbach) this is nevertheless one of the best hotels in Germany. Service from all staff is excellent and very firiendly. The buffet breakfast is extremely extensive. Views from the hotel are excellent. Access to central Cologne is very easy via the nearby tram line. There are tow restaurants at the hotel. Enoteca is an Italian Trattoria style restaurant. Vendôme is a 3 Michelin star restaurant with chef Joachim Wissler arguably one of the best 3 chefs in Germany.
Good Italian food in the second restaurant of the hotel. Great wine choice at reasonable prices (for a Swiss).
Excellent eating, perfect, authentic, so must be Italian kitchen. a successful selection of wine. from the appetizer (minestrone as from oma, world class) to the main courts would simply have succeeded everything! would not these service forces ask the ones with the attached smile and an inappropriate arrogance the successful evening. the restaurant management is friendly, but completely overwhelmed. the service workers do not deserve the name, to be highlighted is a young lady who distinguished herself by her arrogance instead of working through trained. Pity! it would be helpful for the house if you knew how to instill wine, approach the gas or communicate with the gast.We started to use the service only for ordering new drinks. we gave ourselves. worth mentioning the question "has it boiled"? completely new level!
