It has an awesome outside dining space with fi... read more Grabbed a burger with some friends last week while visiting Mons. This place is tucked away close to city center. It has an awesome outside dining space with fire pits in the tables for winter dining. Inside has a pub atmosphere. As for the food, I got The Old Country burger which was okay. I ordered the large but it wasn't much bigger than my friends who got a regular size burger. The fries were more like chips, but the truffle aioli was fantastic. They didn't have a dessert menu which was a disappointment. The service was really slow, but the food came pretty quick. Overall I'd eat there again.

The staff are AMAZING and always on hand with a recommendation that usually winds up being a staple of your future visits (mine is now Irish Whisky). It 's one of my favorites in Mons and I would visit far more often if I could.

This place specializes in cocktails but, to me anyw... read more Quite a new bar in Mons and quite a different kind of bar. It's nice to have a bar that isn't really a cafe. This place specializes in cocktails but, to me anyway, they're not cheap cocktails 7 to 9 euros or maybe I'm just cheap. There is just about every kind of drink you may want from mojitos to many different beers to drinks that I've never heard of. I was there on a Thursday and the place got crowded but not overbearing. The crowd seems to be more mature than the local student population (probably due to the prices) and many seemed to have come right from their jobs to have a drink, being in suits and ties. They also have a couple tv screens and as I was leaving they had a Europa League game on. Oh, great music too!

Wifey and I have been here several times over the past few months and haven't been disappointed service or quality of drinks and food wise. There's an intimate outside patio with a fair amount of seats. Inside seating tends to fill up quickly on the weekends, although there is quite a bit if seating inside as well. These guys offer a good selection of beer and cocktails. There rendition of an audios is a little off, but it's worth the 10€ they charge. What wifey and I like about this bar is their lunch time specials. Their burgers....BOMB....when ordering a burger for lunch, they toss in a small tap beer, coke of coffee for free. Cool spot, I'd highly recommend stopping in if you are in Mons-cheers

For a c... read more This is a stand out bar in Mons and one of the nicer venues around. Classic Belgian vibe with a modern twist, it can get a bit crowded on Friday Nights. For a classy date night or relaxing with friends, The Fox has a nice courtyard for the warmer months and a slightly dim interior with a long wrap around bar. The entire staff speaks english, most of them being from Ireland, and are quick to make you feel welcome. Decent beer list and good cocktails, prices here do run at a premium. Dress code enforced on weekends.
