What User doesn't like about Lysverket:
Definitely the worst restaurant in Bergen. Has nothing to do with Michelin. There is simply no worse service to be found. I have not seen such boorish behavior of the staff for a long time. It seems that the service staff, along with the managers, simply hate their customers and their work. They communicate in an aggressive manner. I definitely do not recommend visiting this place. The prices do not match the quality... View all feedback.
Lysverket has a keying menu or a three cure menu. we tried the last with the wee menu to support the meal. the menu gave us two options for starter, two options for starter and two for dessert. we also have a small starter and a little extra dessert. both interesting and very tasteful. the dinner was very nice and everything was cooked to perfection. the portions were traditional and not very experimental, but excellent ingredients were used and everything was prepared with love and a stable hand. I expect the tasting menu to be more experimental. who were dared and complex and supported eating brilliant. the atmosphere was relaxed and the service was good. super place and cheap.
A 10-course menu served with 8-course paired wine. the weeping and eating were excellent. the atmosphere could be easily preventive, but it wasn't. the host/sommelier was funny and honest and very knowledgeable. only one star lost because the service and the food and wine descriptions began to serve great, but at the end of the meal the host and the junior waiter used to serve and describes the une with desserts. at the very high price of the meal this was the only disappointment.
It is an excellent eating and weeping on a 10-course festival, without doubt. but for a Michelin star place the service was hasting (may perhaps be underoccupied at our day), very briefly explaining the weed and eating and ran away, and generally no personal note of the place. also some of the dishes missed a character they were still nice but without surprise, namely the full green 4 curs, the kimchi fish 2. and the hazelnut only dessert. also the white wine varieties somewhat mixed, the stronger character of the giant should not be the first, and the mild chardonnay should not be the last white, but vice versa. it is very good overall, but for a 7000kr two-person dinner would expect higher standards to 5 stars.

What can I say?! Simply amazing creative combination of flavours, beautifully presented. The perfect atmosphere to make a meal really memorable. And discreet, knowledgeable and good-humoured service. Highly recommended.
