Don’t go all in on their teriyaki sushi items if you haven’t tried it before. Fried scampi makis are great.

I ordered two maki rolls a... read more It's a take away place, but you can sit down and eat there too. No other sitting guests there today, but several take away customers! I ordered two maki rolls and salmon and tuna sashimi. Delicious and crispy maki with fried scampi inside and topped with salmond. Tasty spicy halibut. The salmon and tuna sashimi was nice and came with daikon, but no ponzo sauce, it was either forgotten or was a condiment and had to pay extra for it. My friend was happy with his meal as well! The menu is big and have warm and cold dishes. It was quite cold in the restaurant and the music was too loud, but the staff was nice and friendly. Would love wine and beer to go with the sushi! And I like something sweet after eating sushi, so a dessert menu would be nice! Will come again!

Everything we have tried on their menu has been excellent, and we are expecially fond of their Royal Duck. iSushi have several restaurants in Bergen, this review is for Åsane. You can sit down and eat, but pretty sure 99% of their customers order take away, it is small and not very sit down friendly. Lucky for us we live nearby... :

And I undestand why we have always been very satisfied with their food. They have a larger selection of maki than other, similar places. Something for everyone from the sushi beginners to us serious sushi fans. Dinner from Isushi has become our regular Saturday dinner, and they have never dissapointed us.
