An excellent restaurant with an actual atmosphere if you want something moody for a date night. The vintage turkish music was just at the right volume so it can be enjoyed (and shazamed) and you can still carry-on a conversation with you beloved. The food was very good and they have wine and beer. We tried the a bottle of red at the bottom of the price range 900TL and it was very drinkable. The food is a bit pricey but not bad considering that they are selling you also an atmosphere and something a bit unique in the Bergama (and to some extent some parts of Turkey). The menu has some english translations but you'd do well looking up some of the dishes online to know what you are getting. The waiter's English was good enough for us to be able to order and he was quite kind and hospitable without being intrusive. Very good experience. Only reachable using the bridge (other paths that google shows you are not navigable).
The extra expense is worth it for the cooking which is refined. tablecloths, large choice of wine and beer, and the friendly service that has no problem with English speaking tourists. The atmosphere includes a grand greek style hall with high ceilings and a lot of tables with views over the town. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
It is a great restaurant that you can choose with your family. I can say that it is a very beautiful place that will appeal to both your eyes and your palate with its historical atmosphere. The business is family run and the people are very polite and caring. You will feel that they attach great importance to customer satisfaction. Do not forget to visit this place where you will have unforgettable moments and add a new one to your memories without hesitation.
The place is beautiful. Interest is nice. Good enough for appetizers and meals. Thank you Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₺400–500 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot
Great location and views (if you’re lucky enough to get one of the only 3 prime tables by the cliff). Food was ok, with small portions (ridiculous amount of rice and 1 single potato wedge on the mixed grill). Beef was hard and almost unedible. To make things worse they use such cheap cutlery it’s impossible to try and cut the meat. However, worst was the service by the manager. We didn’t get a good table. Before our mains arrived, we asked to move to a nice table that was now empty. He said no, as it was booked. 5mins later, two men came and he offered them that table but they rejected and went to another one. Conclusion: he just tried to be lazy and lied to us, table was not booked. I felt so angry we finished our food, let him know about our disappointment and ran away. Dear traveller looking for a nice place to eat. Food is never terrible in Turkiye, people are usually very nice and honest (outside of Istanbul), but the man who runs this place is unfortunately not a good man based on our experience. Please, go somewhere else where they do things right and treat people with honesty and respect. Avoid!!!
