Mr. Hero - Berea

We are residents of Berea and always visit this Mr. Hero location. It is hands down the best Mr. Hero in town. Our family from Georgia also adores this specific restaurant. It is truly excellent.

Starting off by mentioning that I am almost 74 years old, I must say that my wife and I first tried the Roman Burger back in 1978. A small shop had opened up next to a McDonald's on Lorain Road in North Olmsted, Ohio. Despite being loyal McDonald's fans, we decided to give the Roman Burger a try after seeing their advertising. My wife ordered the butter steak 7-inch sandwich, while I opted for the 7-inch Roman Burger. We shared our sandwiches to savor the taste of each. With the first bite of my Roman Burger, I discovered a delicious taste unlike anything I had ever experienced in a sandwich before. The butter steak was also excellent, and we found ourselves with a new favorite restaurant. That was over forty-three years ago, and to this day, no other restaurant has been able to replicate that unique flavor. It is the taste and experience that keeps me coming back for more. Nowadays, I live in Olmsted Falls, right next to Berea, where there is a Mr. Hero on Main Street. This little shop with seating has become my go-to for a hero fix. I am never disappointed and consider it a special treat for myself. When you find a taste that you can't find anywhere else, you can't help but keep going back for more. It's a small pleasure that brings me joy. And that's all I have to say about that!

The Uber app had an error, but Mr. Hero's promptly resolved the issue and provided excellent service. 5 stars!

Wow great place clean and fast and they changed the bread and it's way better,my order is always correct and very friendly staff

Friendly service! Great Hot Buttered Steak sandwiches and waffle fries! Fries didn't taste like old grease they tasted like the one's you get at a french fry stand at a carnival!
