Back from the seafront where every table was taken quite a lot. We sat outside to start with it, but quickly realized it was way too windy. It wasn't a problem coming in. We ordered the Moules marinières. Argh, celery and fennel in the sauce. I'm not wild about fennel, and I hate celery. But I didn't know until I got far enough to dip my bread into the liquid. The shells themselves were good. My wife discovered the celery before I did it, and sat there in the hope that I would not notice it! The plank apéro was meant as a starter, but was just perfect for my son as the main course. (He loves this kind of things olives, chorizo, ham, cornichons). Less sharp on the rillettes de porc but mom and dad liked it a lot. Café gourmand was enough for the three of us chocolate mousse, chocolate brownie, and a kind of cake thing divided in half and filled with a boule vanilla ice cream. The Chap next table polished the whole thing itself. I think our waiter was tied a bit through our decisions, but quickly and efficiently sorts us out.
