I think the staff were finding their feet in those early days, but we had one of o... read more We first went to Ole only a few weeks after it opened, just before Christmas. I think the staff were finding their feet in those early days, but we had one of our best meals there. We had originally chosen the bar so we could watch football on the big screen by the bar and ended up having dinner there. One of the bar staff was English, from Wolverhampton, which helped as we wanted to watch a Premier League game rather than La Liga. Luckily for us, most of the clientele wanted to watch the same game and there was a great atmosphere in the bar. As for the food, the chef clearly takes great pride in his cooking and everything we had was well cooked and presented. The fish in particular was excellent and he then presented us with two different desserts to try out. If we were being guinea pigs then, this was a great experiment. Service both from the bar and for the food was excellent. All in all a great evening (although the football match was a 0-0 draw!! The place does not look much from the outside and maybe soon they will get their pizza oven (still not there when we went back in February , but you cannot fault the food, atmosphere or enthusiasm of the staff. I would highly recommend Ole.

But the best part was the very friendly staff, especially the owner made us feel welcome. He really lifted the spirit after a rainy day.
