it was the only time that I tried traditional cuisine in Albania, as most dishes were based in the regular meat and milk. here the owner and his family prepared for me some alternatives, such as filled aubergines and paprika, which always come up with cheese. the food was very delicious, maybe the portions could have been a bit bigger (I think they are traditionally more like eating ate than full meal.) Friendy cozy restaurant. owners recommended which vegetarian options could be made vegan. that was delicious. very reasonable prices. beautiful coffee.
When they check out the ruins of the castle and its churches and mosques, they can sit down for some filled paprika and filled aubergines, while still behave beautifully enjoy. the owner speaks decent English and knows what vegetarian and vegan mean. we were so excited to find this there, so I would like to spread the word that vegans can eat in the castle. also there is a real bath with tp. I think because he is the owner who seemed slightly insulted when we gave him tipp, business owners are the only people we met in Albania that did not like to be tipped.
After exploring the ruins of the castle and its churches and mosques, you can dine on stuffed peppers and eggplants while taking in the stunning views of Berat. The owner speaks English well and understands vegetarian and vegan diets. We were thrilled to discover that vegans can dine at the castle and even has a proper bathroom with toilet paper. However, the owner seemed slightly offended when we left a tip, as business owners in Albania are not accustomed to receiving them.
