Ihop
Description
A roadside diner with generous portions and reliably fresh coffee attracts travelers and families, especially those with large rigs thanks to ample, easy-access parking. Food is often hot and satisfying—omelettes get frequent praise—but the experience is inconsistent. Service ranges from friendly and attentive to slow and chaotic, with occasional undercooked dishes, missing condiments, and cleanliness lapses. Better staff organization and stricter sanitizing would elevate what can be a worthwhile stop for pass-through diners.

After traveling with our 5th wheel, we stopped at this restaurant which had ample parking for big rigs. The service was slow, prompting us to ask our waiter for the bill so we could quickly get back on the road. The entrance had a prominent kiosk, indicating a somewhat chaotic environment. Due to supply chain shortages, some items were unavailable, and the waitress mentioned waiting 10 weeks for new menu pages which had just arrived. The restaurant seemed to be struggling with timely stocking due to the pandemic. Despite being less busy than usual, they appeared to have enough staff to handle the workload. The food was satisfactory, and the coffee was fresh and delicious. However, cleanliness was lacking, with fingerprints and smudges on partitions and glass. It was clear that the restaurant was not following enhanced cleaning measures during the pandemic. They should designate someone to focus on sanitizing and maintaining cleanliness to ensure a safer dining environment.
The waitress at this restaurant was friendly and efficient. The food portions were just right. The hamburger omelette was delicious and very filling. We were seated promptly and the waitress was attentive to our needs at the table, even while training another employee. Despite having several tables to attend to, she never lost focus on ours. I wish every waiter and waitress was as great as she was.
We were just passing through and needed a place to stop that could accommodate our 5th wheel. They have ample parking for big rigs. The parking lot is fairly easy to get in and out of. Service was extremely slow. We had to wave the waitstaff down so we could pay and get on the road. Their cash register kiosk was heavily disheveled upon entrance. That was a key indicator of the chaotic environment. They had notices posted on the door to ask for patience and understanding for some items that would
Friendly and efficient waitress. The food portions was just right. The hamburger omelette was savory and very filling. We didn't have to wait to be seated. The waitress was very attentive to our needs at our table, even though she was training another employee. The waitress also had multiple tables but never lost focus on our table. I truly wish all waiters and waitress was more like our waitress.
Worst service ever! Waited for 10 minutes after we were seated to even have a waiter come to take drink orders. Took another 10 minutes just to get water and coffee! Then after 30 minutes water came back and said she forgot to put our order in. Next table of 8 got their food 20 minutes before us and they came in after us! Food was cold and disgusting by time we finally got it! And of course she never brought us napkins or flatware or syrups or condiments! Had to go track her down to get those!
