Gary's Sling Blade Dairy Bar has been made famous by the movie Sling Blade staring Billy Bob Thornton and Dwight Yoakam which debut November 27th 1996. Today's experience was that that you would expect on your local hometown Dairy Bar. The food was hot and fresh the drinks were cold and mixed just right. Takes you back to that Old Town hometown goodness of a wonderful local Dairy Bar. I see now why it was such important addition to the movie. The ice cream is second to none and you must stop in and try fresh made Sundae or a milkshake or malt. (Be sure to place a large order french fried taters with a side of mustard.
