Even though t... read more The quintessential “Lake City Fish Restaurant.”All orders come with white beans, cole slaw, and green onion. We had the fried catfish. Very tasty. Even though they were short of staff, I’ve never seen two waitresses work so hard. We were never in need of extra drinks or anything. Our waitress was fantastic. She said she had just agreed to help out, and was now working full time.My only disappointment was that I had read from another user that their tartar sauce was excellent. I dug deeper and found out their bottles were filled with the same sauce as in their packets, which I believe were Kraft. Decent, but I’m a stickler for homemade tartar sauces.Overall, a good place to get fresh catfish.

Well I stood in line for 15 mins with a party of 6 to get inside and get very rudely told that they cant seat us we have to wait, but wanted to set everyone beh... read more Well I stood in line for 15 mins with a party of 6 to get inside and get very rudely told that they cant seat us we have to wait, but wanted to set everyone behind us in line first...ummm no maam I dont think so, so I asked why we couldnt just be seated at the very clearly open table in front of us with 8 chairs and was told that if I wanted to to get smart I could walk out the same door I came in, well I did with about 15 other people that heard the very rude lady get smart with me because she didnt like my question....this place could be wonderful but your very rude KAREN up front will never make this place go anywhere. GET RID OF THE KAREN!

This... read more Catfish Kitchen has been a favorite restaurant for many years. We have always looked forward to eating there when we visit. We’ve never been disappointed. This evening, was another good meal and great time. The absolute best catfish ever! We enjoyed talking with the staff and other customers. Looking forward to our next visit.
