A little above average for a casino as far as gambling goes. Table games limits are a little high for the beginners and moderate player. As for food the restaurant is outstanding and so is the small sandwich shop which offers burgers and the usual menu. We had the blackened salmon with choice of 2 sides. All very good and at an affordable price. View all feedback.
What Shane Hayden doesn't like about Catfish Kitchen:
This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. Just had to so I could leave a review. This place has gone down hill. Service and food is terrible if you can even get them to answer the phone or be open. Strongly recommend not wasting your time and money here!!!!!! View all feedback.
For anyone who wants to come here and eat you cannot go by their hours online. They are never open when we try to go and never answer the phones. When the previous owners ,Wes and Judy, owned it, they had normal hours and the food was always great!!
The quintessential “Lake City Fish Restaurant.”All orders come with white beans, cole slaw, and green onion. We had the fried catfish. Very tasty. Even though they were short of staff, I’ve never seen two waitresses work so hard. We were never in need of extra drinks or anything. Our waitress was fantastic. She said she had just agreed to help out, and was now working full time.My only disappointment was that I had read from another user that their tartar sauce was excellent. I dug deeper and found out their bottles were filled with the same sauce as in their packets, which I believe were Kraft. Decent, but I’m a stickler for homemade tartar sauces.Overall, a good place to get fresh catfish.
We are from Florida and traveling on vacation. We wanted a local place to eat that served fish. Catfish Kitchen Restaurant popped up on Google Maps. We are so happy it did. The staff was super friendly and the food delicious. You are served hushpuppies and white beans right away. I'm from southern Louisiana and those were the best white beans I have ever eaten. I ordered the catfish, baked potato, and creamy coleslaw. The fish and potato were piping hot and the slaw yummy. We took our dessert to go because we were so full. However, the lemon icebox and pecan pie were delish too! We highly recommend this restaurant and wish they were close to our home.
