What a charming little spot! I finally had the chance to drop by and grab a bite to eat. I ordered the Reuben sandwich, and it was honestly the best one I've ever tasted. In addition to a variety of meats, they offer a wide selection of seasonings, local honey, plenty of jellies (including Muscatine), side dishes for your meals, and a friendly staff! What Carolina Paucek doesn't like about Breitweiser's Meat Market:
The prices are excessively high! Last year, turkeys were priced between $45 and $50, but now they're asking for $75! This is simply outrageous. I will be sharing a follow-up review after my experience. It feels like blatant price gouging. View all feedback.

Best smoked meat in town. You can't go wrong with any of their plate lunches! The sandwiches are the best in town! Smoked bologna and smoked cheddar is the route to go!
Im fairly new to Benton and have found several local eateries that are great. Breitweiser's is a place I drive by a lot and was curious about. I went to yelp to see what people said. The reviews were very good, so I went last week on Thursday around noon. Im a fan of Reuben's, so I decided on it for lunch. I also picked up a fresh cut 1lb sirloin steak for supper. I also grabbed a jar of blackberry jelly which looked to have been made in small batches. The sandwich was very good. If I had any complaint, it would be that it was maybe on the small side considering the price but nothing to get too upset about. The steak was great. I made a homemade marinade and let it sit for several hours. I slapped it on the grill, 450 degrees for 3 minutes a side and 3 min on the top rack with reduced heat and it was perfect. I was very pleased. The blackberry jelly was awesome as well. My mother in law is visiting from out of state and I'm about to head up their and get more Steaks for Thai evening.
Since 1976 and probably hasn’t changed much. Great local dive in Benton with good food. We passed by and seeing the sign for Ruben’s and fresh sandwiches we had to stop and I am sure glad we did.
This is a fantastic deli offering delicious sandwiches with everything smoked in-house. It's a family-owned establishment with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The prices are reasonable, especially for a small, local business. Highly recommend!
