Very tasty house tonkotsu ramen. I only did not like the dry onion in the soup. I think it is not needed. Otherwise, it's very tasty. Will definitely come back Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Custom Made Ramen Soup View all feedback.
What Maia Lawson doesn't like about Tamago Ramen Fried Chicken:
Very good food for mid-high price but I would say the interior is not very inviting. With some work it would be a really nice place Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2 View all feedback.
Their Tonkotsu soup was not thick as I expected so it decreased the satisfaction of Ramen as a whole. The noodle, meat and vegetable were alright Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €10–20 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
This was a gem in the city center. Its ramen, broth and presentation was great. I write in the past tense, because sadly it is permanently closed and the building is being prepared for another business already. Hope they will return one day! Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
【postscript】 I received a reply that Tonkotsu Ramen is not actually pork bone, and that House Tonkotsu is the real pork bone, so I went back. It certainly feels a little better this way, but it's still thin and the noodles aren't really... The chashu pork and boiled eggs are delicious. Overall, it feels kind of disappointing. Somehow, the flavor lacked richness or depth. Well, it's pork bone, but is it thin? I feel like it. Is there not enough sauce? If you eat plain pork bones, I think you'll get tired of it before you finish eating one bowl. I think having table seasonings and condiments can make a huge difference. As it is called egg ramen, the flavored egg was the best. The chashu is also delicious. It's a relatively new store, so I'm looking forward to its future. Good choice for those who wish to enjoy a tasteful Japanese dish with a good quality price ratio (a dish costs around 15 euros). The staff is very friendly and the facilities are clean and well kept. Little gem Ramen place in the middle of busy street of The Hague restaurant district. We went in for early supper, so there is no crowd. The food was great and flavourful. Their unique service is quite an experience. Tap your phone the QR code and select your item, and pay once you are done. Food will come to you when ready. Very cool idea. Place is clean and very well situated from the traffic. Meal type: Dinner
