A very nice hike up Kirchberg. Along the way, there's a small playground with a swing and slide...but unfortunately, it's in the blazing sun at midday. Otherwise, the path is pleasant to walk in both sunshine and shade. There are also benches along the way. As a reward, coffee and cake are available at the top...very tasty, as are wine, beer (also non-alcoholic), and juice and spritzers. For dinner, there's schnitzel, bratwurst, fish and chips, fried potatoes, spaetzle, and Kaiserschmarrn (sweet pancakes) with apple sauce. The view from the top is fantastic; you can even see the Palatinate Mountains Dogs are also welcome. The only downside: the card reader was broken today

Very nice place, unfortunately we had some rain....
