Friendly's - BENSALEM

On July 7, 2019, around 4:30 p.m., we ordered a sundae and a milkshake. We waited about 15 minutes during which we could hear laughter and loud crashes coming from the kitchen. The waitress eventually came out, handed us our ice cream order, and presented us with the bill without even acknowledging our drink order. It seemed like they wanted us to leave quickly. When I went to pay, they didn't have change for a $20 bill. Something has definitely changed here, and I won't be returning.

I'm really disappointed. Are there any friendly restaurants that serve good food? I understand why so many options have closed in my area—the quality has declined over the years. I was hoping for a better experience in the mall. I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup combo, but the grilled cheese barely had any butter and lacked toast marks, which was very disappointing. The tomato bisque soup, while tasty, was lukewarm on top and quite scalding on the bottom.

Even though the shopping center can be relatively quiet, this restaurant is always bustling. We’ve consistently enjoyed our meals here. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. We often order salads, wraps, and breakfast, and we’ve never encountered any issues; the portion sizes are generous. The clientele is diverse, including young children, seniors, singles, couples, and families. The managers frequently check in to ensure we’re satisfied, and we always are. We’ve been coming here for years, which speaks volumes about our experience.

Kindness is always a great place to take your children too. We had a very pleasant time. The waitress was perfect! Will definitely go back.

The manager and the worker are very nice there. And they try to make your visit a pleasant one. But the little plates of food. That they give you now. It's just a shame. But the food is still very good.
