We went on a Wednesday for dinner with a group of friends. Only one in the group had been here previously and she highly recommended Alarz. We all agree, after a fun evening, that the restaurant is fantastic. The food is delicious and service was terrific! Try the hummus, stuffed grape leaves and various appetizers were amazing. Not impressed. Second time trying this restaurant and food was just okay- one entree was very salty. Appetizers tried for the 2nd time were much better during the first visit about 1 month prior. For the price and menu selection, we expected more. Restaurant is new but looks aged inside. View all feedback.
I liked it so much I returned twice in one week! Dined with a group of friends initially. The food was great and service as well. I raved about the appetizers so much that my husband wanted to go. The second time was just as good as the first. We will definitely return.
The server, Ms. Dee, was incredibly friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. It was a great little spot to celebrate a friend's birthday!
The food was inconsistent during my visit. The salad and seafood we tried were excellent, but the soup was quite disappointing. The desserts were frozen and definitely should have been taken off the bill. While the waitstaff were friendly, the music was too loud and rather annoying.
We had an incredibly delicious dinner here. Every dish was wonderfully creamy and full of flavor, from the crab cakes to the duck with its heavenly sauce and the lemon sauce on the side. The seafood and wings were fresh and tender. The grape leaves we had as appetizers were the best we've ever tasted. We can't wait to come back!
It was just okay to dismiss something, probably won't go back.
