We hope to return now that they have reopened.

We arrived in Bennington at 8:30pm. This was one of the only non-chain restaurants open after 8pm. We were driving for 30 hours and we were hungry. We put their... read more We arrived in Bennington at 8:30pm. This was one of the only non-chain restaurants open after 8pm. We were driving for 30 hours and we were hungry. We put their address in google maps and ended up taking the pitch black back roads there on 1/4 tank. We found one gas station that was open. We finally made it to this cute little pizza cafe in a neighborhood. There is no dine in right now but they have outdoor dining. We ordered Sammie and Erme on wheat and gluten free crust. All ingredients are grown locally. It was delicious! I don't normally like crust but I loved their crust. I ended up eating the entire pizza. The Erme was so flavorful even without a sauce!! The crust, the garlic, the local Vermont cheese mix, the spinach and sweet tomatoes! My husband had the sammie and he also ate the entire pizza. I highly recommend eating at Marigold's! If you live here, I'm sure you already know. If not, you gotta try some Vermont pizza from Bennington.
