Gensis Family - Bennettsville

OMG! The best southern food in all neighboring cities!! The staff is always friendly and welcoming! Sweet tea, roasted beef and rice, Mac and cheese, collar, okra, sweet potatoes, roasted chicken, cookies, fat back, and the list continues! Food is excellent!!! In any case, you need to turn on and some of the best food you ever eat.

We were home to NC and found this place on Google maps with great reviews. The place was busy on a Sunday afternoon. This is simply a great house kitchen in a simple environment. Do not let yourself be removed from the basic view of the place. People were very friendly and took time to talk to us before we left.

The best house cooked food beside Mamas! We have a place on the beach and live the full time between the Winston-Salem and Asheboro areas of NC. Today was our first but not our last visit to the Genesis Family Restaurant. The staff was welcoming and the atmosphere made you feel at home. But the best part by far was the food!!! We felt blessed to find this jewel in Bennettsville and we can't expect you to see next time. Thank you.

Discovered the restaurant doing an internet search tried it based on reviews. The food was fantastic if you're into good southern cooking. Excellent fried chicken. You get a slip to complete choosing 2 meats, 4 veggies, bread, drink and dessert for $13. We couldn't eat it all took leftovers with us. Very friendly staff that kept checking to make sure we were accommodated.

I went with my family on Sunday for lunch. We were on our way home from Myrtle Beach and searched for restaurants near me. I 'm so glad we ended up eating lunch here. The food was delicious as well as customer service. Everyone was so welcoming and we all enjoyed the food here. I can 't wait to go back again in the near future.
