Was Anonym at Chilpayas a mag?
We really enjoyed our lunch and all the little touches such as the drink at the end. They couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome, thank you, we will be back. View all feedback.

We found this place because we were in the area and we loved it so much that we came twice in our 4-day trip in Cancun. This resto is located in Puerto Morelos and takes approximately 25 min to drive to but it was definitely worth it getting away from the hustle in the city! The restaurant owner was one of the most wonderful people we met in Mexico including his really kind wife which were both hands on in running their eatery. When we were dining in their cozy restaurant we felt we were back home in the Philippines. To top it off, we loved the toritos drink that they offered us. Since we're starting to travel more, we will always remember the beautiful country of Mexico thanks to the delicious food of Chilpayas. Please support the local restos and enjoy the warm hospitality that they offer. We would not hesitate to go back!

I went here by myself because I was only in town for one night. I found it on a quick Google search of the area. I was not disappointed! It is clean, the menu is in Spanish so the hostess actually offered to explain the entire menu to me! She was so patient and very kind.Everything sounded so good I ordered two entries, and have no regrets! Also all of the water they use in the kitchen is filtered and safe for tourists. My only problem after eating here was how full was!!

Finally made it there and wow, it was worth the wait. # of us ordered 1/2 kilo of Coconut Shrimp. (all the shrimp varieties can be ordered by the order $140 pesos or by the 1/2 kilo $240 pesos, or by the kilo but not sure of that price) 2 of us were big eater and we still could not eat them all. Perfectly cooked coconut shrimp served with a smokey tamarind sauce that was heavenly. I have lived here for 14 years and this restaurant with it's Veracruz influence is nby far the best seafood I have tasted here. On top of all that, the owners are a delight. Friendly, eager to please plus active in the community. I will be back often.

We would go here again. The owners were unfortunately out of town and the son was there so he was not sure on some of my questions. I asked about crab on the menu since the menu is in Spanish and he was not sure if they had any that night. It was low season so maybe they do not carry it now. He food is good and the price are good. Try it for sure for good seafood.

If you've never experienced Veracruzano cuisine, then Chilpayas should be high on your list. Chef Sergio certainly lives up to the legacy of fine dining 'veracruz-style!' Yes, I made it there too! The sauces are exceptionally delicious and the seafood itself is absolutely succulent. Next time I will enjoy a glass of white wine with my dish. Ariana and Sergio (owners) have created a friendly place to visit and dine where you will feel right at home. I like the style of service and conversational atmosphere of the place.
