Visited the town to have a look round, needed a hot drink but most cafes were closed early afternoon (well it was mid December) so it was a relief to spot this... read more Visited the town to have a look round, needed a hot drink but most cafes were closed early afternoon (well it was mid December) so it was a relief to spot this modern and clean cafe located in a small square at the back of the main parish church with inside seating. Initially we were the only customers and the lady behind the counter understood exactly what we wanted almost before we opened our mouths she didn’t speak English but was obviously used to foreign customers popping in. As well as hot drinks we enjoyed a tasty bocadillo and croissant. Nice to sit away from the bitter wind and relax before heading back to the car.

The service is speedy and friendly and the customers are usually locals. Coffee is really good and I can recommend the fresh orange juice.

It is so reassuring that the locals frequent this establishment and order all sorts of brunch and lunches, giving you confidence in the quality of foods served. The location is lovely, it is set behind the amazing Church at the back of the square in Benissa. I can highly recommend this cafe.
