Not good. The waitress was very rude to begin with. I ordered Chicken Carbonara and it was vile. Swimming in sauce with raw egg in it. I had to clean my teeth to get rid of the taste when I got home. Service was very slow. Would I go here again? Not on your life.
Visited this restaurant on our first night initially as it was one of the closest to our apartment. We couldn't fault the quality of the food, the value for money or the service by the staff, so much so that we returned another 3 times. The pizza, lasagne, chicken, salad and swordfish were all very good but the paella was amazing. All enjoyed with a fantastic view of the sea.
Food is great as always tuna pizza is to die for! Starters were great and had a lovely atmosphere. If you are an early eater they have people in the restaurant all day so it’s never completely dead either!!
Two years and 8 months since we were in Mojacar and our first meal out was Saturday lunch in the sun at the Levante. Friendly as ever and the food was fresh, cooked perfectly and the service was excellent. Highly recommend this place.
Having read the reviews including the poor ones, I must admit I was a bit sceptical especial about the fact that they served some frozen sea food and fish. As we called here on a number of mornings during our two week holiday for a coffee and water, I took the opportunity to ask the waitress who served us most times about the trip advisor reviews mentioning frozen fish and sea food. She assured me that the only seafood that maybe frozen were prawns like other local restaurants owing to all year availability. We decided to take a chance so booked a table for seven which included three children under 8yrs. Allocated a nice front table overlooking the sea. In the meantime during our morning visits we observed sea food and fish being delivered to the restaurant around midday and none of it was frozen. On our first visit we enjoyed salads and sardines. For our mains we had seabass, squid, roast chicken and escolope of veal. The kids had Margarita pizza and chips. Red Vino we enjoyed Ramon Bilbao 19 euros and blanc Marques at 19 euros both rated 8/10. A couple of soft drinks for the kids, water and two pints of beer total £156 Euros plus a 10% tip. We returned a few days later and had the same table. This time for starters we enjoyed salads and mushrooms, anchovies and baby squid. For mains we had Seabass Lubina and roast chicken. The children had spaghetti bolognase, escalope veal, to share. Red vino Resalo 21 euros and blanc Marques de Riscal 19 Euros. Water and soft drinks plus 11/2 pints of beer. Total 165 euros. On both occasions we had good service and a nice welcome for the family. We wanted to return for a Paella but although it was on the menu and we were informed that it had to be reserved the day before we were informed it was not available during the evening for the months of July August which was a real disappointment for the family. As we wanted to try other restaurants we did not return but would have done if Paella had been available.
