Was Jule (JLD722) at Java Point a mag?
I visited Java Point on a Sunday and was informed that it would take an hour for my To-Go order. I was confident it would be worth the wait. I ordered the Tapsilog and the Cornsilog, and they were absolutely delicious! The food was definitely worth the wait. View all feedback.

What iCar Soto dislikes about Java Point:
I really like this place. However, I ordered pancake and vanilla latte today and the pancake was not cook all the way and they had pancake mix under the pancake. Also the latte has like coffee grinds or something inside. It was nasty. I also ordered the longsilog and that was really good, no issues. View all feedback.

Consistently excellent breakfast with a great location by the waterfront.

I'm honestly confused by the rave reviews for this café. I visited for brunch today with my husband and ordered the huevos rancheros. At first glance, it appeared promising, featuring all the essential ingredients. However, the dish lacked flavor and seasoning, making it rather bland. While $16.50 is a fair price for a decent huevos rancheros, it felt like a rip-off for a subpar meal that I could have easily thrown together myself with minimal cooking skills. My husband opted for a breakfast croissant, which he described as just okay—nothing special. He chose the fruit cup as a side, and we both noticed that the grapes and melon looked limp and unappetizing, as if they were past their prime. He also ordered pancakes with mixed berries and ate them without much comment, ultimately passing the berries to me, which I enjoyed. According to Google Maps, this place is comparable to The Joy of Eating Café, but I found that hard to believe. If you're planning to spend $45 on breakfast for two, I highly recommend going to The Joy of Eating Café instead, as they offer an actually enjoyable dining experience.

Java Point, a local breakfast hotspot, attracts mixed reviews. While some patrons rave about the coffee and delicious Tapsilog and Cornsilog, others express disappointment with the food quality, citing bland dishes and unappetizing ingredients. Service has reportedly declined, with staff appearing unfriendly. However, many still appreciate the café’s cozy ambiance and frequent its brunch offerings regularly. Though the wait times can be long, loyal customers remain drawn to its unique coffee blends and occasional culinary gems. Overall, diners should set expectations accordingly before indulging at this popular spot.
