Bay Area Coffee Inc - Benicia

Hello, we purchased two bags of coffee from the food store in The Dalles yesterday. We mixed the two bags together, so we are not sure which bag the bitter taste is coming from. One bag is a 2 lb French Roast from Boondock Bay with an expiry date of 11/07/19, while the other is a 12 oz Hawaiian mix chocolate macadamia whole bean coffee that we ground ourselves with an expiry date of 10/10/19. The bitterness and strange taste of the coffee is making it undrinkable. What should we do to fix this issue? The food store is over an hour away, so we may not be able to return to exchange the coffee until we are back in town.

I have been purchasing the Hawaiian Hazelnut Whole Bean coffee from Bay Area for over 10 years, and I LOVE THIS COFFEE!!!!!!! I used to purchase it at Sams, but moved to the Florida Keys over 10 years ago, and it is just not available here. I recently visited Hawaii, and tasted several different Hawaiian coffees. I am sticking to the Hawaiian Hazelnut from Bay Area!!!!!! There coffee beans have such a deep aroma, I often just stand there and sniff them! This coffee is great!! I have a Cuisinart grinder coffee pot that grinds the beans, and makes the coffee, these beans are great for that!! It makes my whole house smell like a coffee shop! I am ordering more just as soon as I get thru typing this!!!! Thank you Bay Area Coffee!!!!!!
