Came here on a Sunday night after work for a good light meal. Arepa was definitely good but different compared to the Venezuelan style Arepa. It was more like a Mexican Tostada with all the ingredients (chicken, chips, special sauce, etc) on top of a flatbread. Very flavorful and hit the spot. Service was great and swift. Maybe I didn't order the right things off the menu, but I wasn't impressed. Tried two arepas one chicken, one steak. The meat was fine, but the arepa dough just seemed like a thick corn tortilla that was really tough. Both were covered in crushed potato chips and sauce. The burger was also just ok fortunately I asked to hold the potato chips from that one. Both the arepas and burger seemed pricey for what they were. View all feedback.
I ordered from this place for the first time. The gentleman who assisted me was very pleasant and helpful. However, that experience went south when I made it home and opened my food order. The burger I order had the bottom bun completely burned. It was terrible. It was so bad that it was obvious that the cook simply didn 't care. In an effort to allow them to correct the issue I called them and advised them of my situation. All they did was tell me oh I 'm sorry and I 'll let the cook know nothing more. Not once was o offered any option to rectify the issue. I will not be going back there.
I moved from Hialeah to Homestead so I was looking for a good Colombian fast food place and wow the food here, is delicious!!! I ordered the carne burger and the chorriperro. They were sooo amazing. The only reason why I'm giving this review a 4/5 is because the chorriperro sausage bun was a little dry for my tasting, and also the piña sauce was really watered down. I didn't add it to the food because of this.
I've ordered twice from here through Uber eats. First time we got the hotdogs (they were buy one get one free couldn't pass up the deal lol the hotdogs where pretty big and they were delicious! We also got the mixed Maicito which was really good and the portion was huge! (It was shared between two people! the second time I ordered from here I got a plain maicito which was pretty good too but the mixed one is better. I also got the steak quesadilla bc I kept seeing this was a good pick. It was definitely not my favorite. The meat was full of fat and chewy. Made me rethink not to order steak items from places again! Wouldn't order that again, it was pretty much picking out all the meat and just eating the tortilla with the chips and sauces on top.
We had order like 5 times from this place, but last night was so bad, everything was Salty, and taste like old fried oil, whats going on????
Great place to eat Colombian fast food in the Cutler Bay Area. The chicken quesadilla and the hamburger are awesome. Great customer service
